“Holly and Cha were the perfect hosts, leaving welcome goodies on our arrival, which were much appreciated by all. They had excellent local knowledge and were keen to help at all times. Facilities were good and the indoor Games Room was much used during our few wet days. The walks from the gite were lovely and easy to follow, with outstanding views over the countryside. We ventured as far afield as Vannes in one direction and Quimper in the other – both of which are worth a visit. Many days we spent on the beach, having taken a picnic out with us, and Les Roches du Diable between Le Faouet and Quimperle provided breath-taking views and challenging walking. The market at Le Faouet was a lovely atmosphere and all the French hommes chatted easily to us in a bar, allowing us to soak up the atmosphere even more. Best eat out was as L’Argoat in Le Faouet – excellent food and lots of locals eating in there. In all, coming home was tinged with sadness as it was such a lovely holiday but seeing my new grandson was lovely. We do aim to return to Mimosa as it has left a lasting impression – not soley because of its’ beauty and charm but also thanks largely to its’ lovely hosts. Thank you once again Holly and Cha – we look forward to seeing you next time!”
